From where you are standing you can see that the statue is one of a dragon on its haunches, wings spread, holding something in its paws. The dragon is facing away from you but its head is looking back over its shoulder. The thing looks as if it is guarding a treasure from you. You step forward to get a better look.

As you walk toward the statue, you can't let go of the feeling that it is watching you. You get about five feet from the dragon and suddenly stop. You're not exactly sure why, you only know that you can't go any further. You circle around the statue until you get to the other side. As you look up once more toward the dragon, you realize that the head, which had been looking over the shoulder, is no longer facing that direction. The dragon has turned to look directly at you. Tired of trying to figure the statue out, you turn back to the path.

Back to the path.
